Presentation Evening

Presentation Evening: A pleasant evening was had by all. The trophies presented were to the following:
Southampton League Division 4 Runners Up: Presentation by Club President John Shaddick.
The Charles Henshaw Tourney: Presentations by Club President John Shaddick. Adrian Smith received the Charles Henshaw Shield and the winners award. Peter Beldaus received the Runners Up award.
The Joe French Cup: The Cup for the winner of the Basingstoke Individual Chess Championship wa...s presented by Mr.George French. The winner receiving the Cup was Ivan Stipcevic who also received the winners award. The Finalist award went to Paul Boyd.
The Quick Play competition was won by Ivan Stipcevic with Paul Boyd runners up.
The club greatly appreciates the attendance of the guests and the club members who provided good company and an enjoyable evening.
