The Basingstoke Chess Club's Presentation Evening will be held this Wednesday 28th May 2016.
The evening will have a Joe French theme in memory of the Club Secretary who passed away last year. Many exhibits of Joe will be available.
The 'not too serious' quick play tournament will start at around 7.30pm and the Presentation's will start at 8.30pm. Refreshments and food will be provided. Among the awards will be:
* Joe French Cup - Basingstoke Individual Chess Championship.
* The Charles Henshaw Trophy.
* Southampton League Div. 4 runners up.
Old and new members are very welcome to attend.
