The Chiltern League County match between Hampshire and Berkshire was held at Basingstoke Chess Club over the weekend.
A tight match ended in a draw.
No fewer than six Basingstoke Chess Club players represented the county and several contributed to the Hampshire score.
Jamie Chilton and Barry Kocan scored wins while Ivan Stipcevic and Paul Vanlint both obtained draws.
